This book was about a boy named Peter who has a pet fox named Pax.  He has to release the fox into the wild, but instantly regrets it.  Why does he have to release Pax, and what will he do about it?

My favorite character was another fox named, Gray.  He let Pax into his territory and risked his life for Pax.

I loved this book because Peter and Pax don't give up looking for each other and they are both caring companions.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes animal novels, and enjoys a lighthearted book.
