This book was about a tree named Red, and the day and life with his friends.  Red is a special tree though.  People write wishes on something and tie it to its trunk.  A woman who lives by Red doesn't like the holiday and everything about it.  What will she do?

My favorite character was Red.  He is always optimistic and keeps his hopes up.

I like the book because it talks about TRUE friendship and to never assume what people are like no matter how they look.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read novels that are happy stories and warm your heart.
